Illustrations for Craig Mitchell
Craig Mitchell lives in Hathern, a small village near Loughborough, with his wife, their children, and a dog who has seen far more chaos than any dog should.
By day, Craig works in performance marketing. By night, he turns the wonderfully messy reality of family life into silly, giggle filled bedtime stories that children love and parents recognise all too well.
Despite holding a degree in Forensic Science, Craig has yet to solve the mystery of why everything gets so difficult for Mums and Dads at 7pm. He is also a keen metal detectorist and a dedicated sandwich enthusiast, skills which, surprisingly, have very little to do with writing children’s books.
He is the author of The Boy Who Couldn’t Burp and The Boy Who Couldn’t Poo, and continues his mission to bring laughter (and the occasional raised eyebrow) to bedtime with The Boy with Chicken Pox.
