Good news this week as we finally sold our house. Problem is the buyers are expecting a baby so need to move in sharpish, so we’re now on a manic house hunt mission to find and secure our next home. 7 viewings this weekend, off we go!

Where we’d be without the Internet I do not [...]

Congratulations to Giles and Ruth on their recent wedding. A great day with the reception in the awesome grounds of Harlaxton Manor. Below is a small selection of some of the photos from the day.

Thoroughly enjoyed both the live radio commentary and the final few hours of action itself over in the Jewelery quarter this morning. A storming finish to the 24 hour scalextric race organised by the excellent Stan’s Cafe.
Some photos shown below.

Thanks for everyone involved in last night’s ‘My Dad’s On Twitter…’ event. Especially to our four speakers, Marc Reeves, Dave Harte, Jon Hickman and Jaki Booth.  There will be plenty of feedback and shared thoughts shortly. The illustrated wall is going to be left up for the next week or so and we will be [...]

This short video has been hacked together quickly in iMovie from some MPEGS from the Canon G9 camera whilst on holiday last week. One of the clips is Elliot dancing to a spanish musical duo outside a restaurant one evening in his jim-jams by the marina. The other clips are from the hotel’s children’s disco, [...]

We’ve just had a great week’s holiday in Menorca. A very relaxing break indeed with some nice weather and some peace and quiet, even with a young child!
We were fully expecting Elliot to cry when we took off from Birmingham Airport with the shock of flying for the first time. To see him clapping, giggling [...]
