Good news this week as we finally sold our house. Problem is the buyers are expecting a baby so need to move in sharpish, so we’re now on a manic house hunt mission to find and secure our next home. 7 viewings this weekend, off we go!

Thoroughly enjoyed both the live radio commentary and the final few hours of action itself over in the Jewelery quarter this morning. A storming finish to the 24 hour scalextric race organised by the excellent Stan’s Cafe.

This afternoon we attended the unveiling of my Grandad’s (Sidney George Ivens) memorial bench at his beloved cricket club in Willoughby.
